(3s) Five Days a week: 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
There are no more than twelve children to two teachers in the classroom. This program concentrates on the development of beginning independence, more self-control and peer cooperation. The children enjoy creative art projects, music, block play, cooking, creative movement and dramatic play. They are introduced to simple science projects, beginning math skills and pre-reading awareness. All are done through hands-on experiences and play. Outdoor play is also enjoyed as part of the curriculum. All children are required to be potty-trained. To align with the CT state requirements for Kindergarten, children must turn 3 on or before September 1.
